Ronald J. Greshake, DVM
Ronald J. Greshake, DVM Graduated in December 1985 from the University of Florida with a BS degree in Zoology. After Graduation Dr. Greshake worked for Eckerd Drugs for 3 years. In 1989, Dr. Greshake applied to and was accepted into the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. This curriculum involved 4 years of post graduate training. Dr. Greshake graduated from veterinary school in June 1993. Prior to graduation, Dr Greshake sat for and passed the National Board Exam, the Clinical Competency Exam and the State board Exam.
After Graduation Dr. Greshake applied for an internship in Delaware. This was a competitive position with a national selection process. Dr. Greshake was fortunate to be accepted into this program. In this internship Dr. Greshake refined his skill by interacting with specialist on a one-to-one basis.
Dr. Greshake returned to Jacksonville in December 1993, and began working in a small animal practice. In 1998, Dr. Greshake purchased Vet-I-Care Animal Hospital and subsequently moved the clinic to its current location. In 2003 Dr. Greshake expanded Vet-I-Care to provide 24 hour care. This new phase was opened and called Mandain Pet Emergency Hospital and is located within Vet-I-Care. In 2010 Dr. Greshake opened Race Track Road Animal Hospital. This facility is located in NW St. Johns county.
Dr. Greshake is married and his wife Evelyn often helps out. In addition Dr. Greshake has a son named Curtis who plans to be a veterinarian in the future. Dr. Greshake’s future plans are to continue to provide quality medical and surgical care, while building the clients trust.
